Emotibot Announced US<5 Million Series B Plus Financing, Co-Led by V FUND and Lingfeng Capital

Emotibot was founded in 2015 by Mr. Jian Renxian, former vice president of Microsoft Search Technology Center Asia. Committed to technology research in natural language processing, speech recognition, computer vision, multi-model affective computing, Emotibot is one of the few enterprises in China with the all-scenario man-machine interaction technology of speech, semantics and images. 

Giving the prior focus on NPL for four years, we have developed the first dialogue AI platform with general semantic reasoning engine in China—Bot Factory™, and have taken the lead in establishing many cases with benchmark business enterprises in various industries based on Conversational AI and affective computing technologies, with which we continuously verify and polish the technology. With the Bot Factory™ platform, we also provide the state-of-the-art AI voice assistants for business enterprises, thus implementing the B2C business pattern. Up to now, we have become an important partner of Huawei's "1+8+N" business ecology, and have started in-depth cooperation with many business units of Huawei.

The financing funds will be used in two areas: 

1) Achieving continuous innovation breakthroughs in the field of NLP, affective computing and multimodal human-computer interaction technology; 

2) R&D to upgrade the Bot Factory™ platform, promotion of standardized products and business ecology implementation, and acceleration of in-depth cross-industry cultivation of AI solutions.

Competitiveness One: preemptive strategy in developing NPL

With the solid independent research on Chinese and multilingual NLP, multi-modal affective recognition and Conversational AI platform, we successfully developed and rolled out our speech recognition technology (ASR and TTS) last year, and its practical scenario accuracy rates exceed the industry benchmark. Jian Renxian, founder and CEO of Emotibot, believes that the key to breakthroughs in AI lies in natural language processing, and that only companies that combine NLP and Conversational AI through machine learning and linguistic reconstruction are more promising to lead the implementation of NLP in the industry. Having keenly perceived the importance of NLP in AI industry four years ago and having honed our technology, we are now in the first tier as to this field, and we are also listed in the "Cool Vendors in Conversational AI in APAC".
