On December 20, 2020, ChinaVenture released the list of "100 of 2020 Most Innovative New Economy Companies". Five V Fund portfolios, BIRENTECH, Horizon Robotics, Geek+, Threatbook and Cloudwise, were selected. In terms of the number of companies on the list, V Fund ranked highly among the many institutions participating in the selection.

It is reported that more than 800 companies have applied for this award, and ChinaVenture has made a comprehensive selection based on three dimensions: external attention, industry synergy and industry influence.

In terms of establishment time, most of the companies on the list are established within 6 years, accounting for over 80% of the total, with the largest number of companies established between 2014 and 2016, reaching 64%. From the perspective of the fields covered, artificial intelligence, healthcare and advanced manufacturing companies occupy the top three companies on the list, accounting for a total of 60%.

In terms of the financing performance of the companies on the list, 60% of the companies were in the B and C rounds. Companies with strong growth expectations and industry influence received faster capital boosts, with the most prominent one receiving three rounds of financing in just one year. In terms of funding amount, more than 20% of the companies have raised more than 1 billion yuan in the latest round of financing , and nearly 30% of the companies have raised 500 million yuan to 1 billion yuan.

The five companies of V Fund are all absolute leaders in the advanced manufacturing and hard technology sectors.
